Description
Vanessa Moreno is inspired by sustainability and connection to the land: we are excited to share her coffee for the first time. This anaerobic lot is like sweet summer strawberries and fresh fruit yogurt. Vanessa Moreno and her family have been farming for several generations. Their farm, Fazenda São Felipe is located close to the city of Franca, in the Alta Mogiana region. Following her studies and time in the city, Vanessa returned to the family farm 5 years ago, with a desire to reconnect with nature and have a lasting impact on the environment and how things are done at the estate. Alongside her mother, Vanessa is leading all agricultural practices at the farm. Together, they have invested heavily in regenerative technologies. They have focused on reforestation at the estate and conserving water, bringing back the biodiversity that would have existed before the land was intensively farmed. During cultivation, all inputs with negative impact are decreased to a minimum and soil and plant health are actively restored.
