How BeanHoard Works
BeanHoard is a specialty-coffee listing aggregator. It helps buyers find in-stock coffees from roasters around the world and navigate quickly to the roaster's direct listing to purchase.
What BeanHoard's Goal Is
BeanHoard is a live search index of inventory published by specialty-coffee roasters. Its primary goal is to help buyers find an in-stock coffee that fits what they're looking for and quickly reach the relevant roaster's product listing.
Purchasing and Fulfillment
BeanHoard does not sell coffee or process payments for coffee purchases. The purchase link on each coffee card sends you to the seller's product page (usually the actual roaster's site), where the seller handles payment, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and support.
Roaster-Direct and Reseller Listings
Roaster-direct inventory is shown by default. BeanHoard also includes reseller listings, which are explicitly labeled with the roaster they represent. When available, the original roaster's product page is provided as another option. The goal is to make every practical way to buy a coffee easy to find, including options for coffees from roasters in other countries.
Catalog Coverage and Updates
BeanHoard currently tracks inventory from 360+ roasters. For each tracked roaster, BeanHoard maintains its known in-stock, out-of-stock, and past listings. New listings are checked frequently and usually appear within an hour of publication. Existing in-stock listings are refreshed throughout the day; the broader catalog, including out-of-stock listings, is rechecked on a slower schedule.
Normalized Comparison Fields
Roasters publish product details in many different formats. BeanHoard organizes those details into consistent fields so coffees are easier to filter and compare across roasters:
