Josh’s Notes:Gorgeous lemon/orange aroma on bag open. Welcoming and bright, with a dark bass note of dark brown sugar. On grind, that brown sugar intensifies. It’s sweet enough that I think ants might be attracted to it. On wet, some beautiful notes of ice cold lemon water. So so salivating. In the brew, it’s another shockingly delicious washed Ethiopia. Mouth puckering lemon water, apricot, and that syrupy sweetness of brown sugar, with an amazingly long lemon aftertaste that feels cleansing. Highly recommended if you like washed Ethiopias.Glitch’s Notes:”Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is a world-class wine region located in the south of Ethiopia. Among them, a refined Washed lot has arrived from Gedeb, which has been attracting particular attention in recent years.The main attraction is to the Banko Gotiti Washing Station, which is located at a high altitude of 2,000 to 2,200 meters. Growing coffee in the vicinity Cherry harvested by more than six hundred small farmers is collected and refined under strict control.This area has a large temperature difference between day and night, and it is characterized by the high sugar content and rich flavor of cherries that are slowly mature. The variety is native strains such as Kurume, Dega, and Wolisho, and strongly reflects the individuality of Ethiopia.In the Fully Washed process, only ripe cherries were selected, carefully fermented and flushed, to maximize the clean taste.
