Kenya Kagunyu AA

Description

Kagunyu is one of three washing stations operated by the Rumukia Farmers Cooperative Society in Nyeri, receiving coffee from roughly 600 smallholder producers farming the volcanic soils between Mt. Kenya and the Aberdare range. For this washed lot, ripe cherry is carefully sorted before depulping, fermentation, washing, and drying on raised beds, resulting in the bright acidity, clarity, and fruit character associated with coffees from this part of Kenya.
