Tasting notes: Floral, white tea & stone fruits Echemo is a sweet and expressive certified organic coffee from Goma, Jimma, Ethiopia, produced by Khalid Shifa using Ethiopian heirloom varieties from the nearby Coche forest. This washed coffee offers delicate floral aromas, white tea character, and lingering notes of intense stone fruits. The cherries are selectively hand-picked, carefully sorted, fermented for around 24 hours, and slowly dried for 12–14 days on raised beds under shade nets. With its aromatic florals, vibrant stone-fruit sweetness, and refined tea-like character, Echemo offers a distinctive expression of Ethiopian coffee.
