Origin: Cañas Verdes, Hacienda La Esmeralda, Chiriqui, Panama Elevation: 1700 masl Variety: Gesha Process: Cold Fermentation Washed with Climate Control Drying Dongze's Notes: Jasmine, Peach, Rose, Lavender   Official Desc: Lino 8 FC was harvested on March 5th, 2026 from the Tumaco lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm. The code FC stands for cold fermented washed with climate controlled drying. After being harvested at their ripest, the coffee cherries were depulped and fermented at 16 C in a stainless-steel tanks for 96 hours. This microlot was then dried for 15 days on raised beds in our climate controlled drying facility - an indoor space with constant airlfow and precise temperature and humidity control. Dongze's Take: This year's Panama doesn't have too much notes intensity. Many washed Geshas are leaning towards chamomile, mild citrus, and florals. Therefore, I think this is the year of processing and Lino 8FC highlights just about the perfect combo of a great base green with the right amount of processing to showcase the upfront sweetness and floral aftertaste.
