**VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES Finca Nuguo is a renowned 5-hectare estate located in the remote Jurutungo region of Renacimiento, Chiriquí, Panama. Managed by José "Pocho" Gallardo—who has a Ph.D in civil engineering and has applied his education and experience to develop experimental lots that have risen to acclaim. Situated at high elevations between 1,750 and 1,950 masl near the Costa Rican border, Finca Nuguo is bordered by primary rainforest and La Amistad International Park. This unique location creates a harsh yet exceptional microclimate—marked by cool temperatures, Pacific and Atlantic wind currents, high humidity, and dense cloud cover—that dramatically slows cherry maturation to develop complex sugar profiles in their Geisha trees. Micro-lot yields from this challenging environment are extremely small (often yielding 300kg to 1,000 kg annually), but their meticulously controlled processing produces some of the most sought-after, award-winning coffees in the world. The dedication to micro-lot excellence has earned Finca Nuguo top honors in the Best of Panama(BoP): 1st Place - Geisha Natural Category in 2021 2nd Place - Geisha Washed Category in 2021 3rd Place - Geisha Washed Category in 2024 & 2025 ABOUT THE PROCESS: Harvested on March 9, 2026, at the Colubre Block, the lot was depulped and fermented under the shade for 48 hours at Finca Nuguo. Drying began on March 11 in a controlled room at 22°C.
