Fredy Orantes is a prominent coffee grower in Santa Rosa, known for his dedicated work to uphold high standards in both cultivation and harvesting to produce exceptional coffees. After a meticulous picking process where workers select only the ripest cherries, the coffee is placed in clean sacks for approximately 48 hours of fermentation. Once this fermentation period is complete, Fredy moves the coffee to raised beds that are strategically positioned to take advantage of the abundant sunlight in Fraijanes. The coffee dries on these beds for about 25 to 30 days, with frequent turning to ensure thorough and even drying. This lot has tasting notes of green grapes, lime, and honey, featuring a silky mouthfeel. It is available for both filter and espresso!
