Description

This Caturra was harvested on March 17, 2026. Whole cherries were depulped and fermented in spring water for 24 hours. Water was removed and then rested in a closed container. It then spent 5–6 weeks drying on indoor beds before it finished drying for 72 hours in a dehydrator. Karin De La Rosa and her family grow award-winning coffee at Mount Totumas. In 2023, they took first place in the Geisha Natural category at Best of Panama. The farm sits within the 140-hectare Mount Totumas Cloud Forest in Tierras Altas, Chiriquí. The family planted their first 500 coffee trees in 2014, and today the farm has over 10,000. This nanolot was created specifically for Rogue Wave Coffee by Karin and her team.
