Tasting notes: Strawberry, honeysuckle, pink lemonade and peachMullugeta Muntasha established the Dawencho drying station in Bursa, Ethiopia, in 2021 after years of transporting and collecting coffee in neighbouring Arsi. Dawencho quickly gained recognition through Ethiopia’s Cup of Excellence, including four top-ten coffees processed from Mullugeta’s lots in 2022. This Landrace coffee is naturally processed and dried on raised beds at 2,150 metres. Onyx roasts it ultra-light for an expressive, fruit-forward cup suited to both filter and espresso.
