Washed Heirloom Shakiso Hadeso Washing Station - Ethiopia Ethiopia is where coffee began, and the Guji Zone is where we keep finding some of the most compelling expressions of what that origin means today. Samuel Demisse of Keffa Coffee has been a partner since Corvus's founding, and it was through his deep relationships in southern Ethiopia that Shakiso first entered our world. The smallholders working with producer Ejegayehu Bekele have made it hard to look away ever since. What draws us to Shakiso is the way it holds two things at once: the tea-like delicacy and bright florals that define high-quality Ethiopian coffee, and a tropical richness that feels specific to this corner of Guji.
