2026 New crop, fresh crop  - just landed. Our import partners Raw Material created a project group called Red Associations with a clear goal to achieve stable and sustainable prices for community coffee lots through improved quality control, shared knowledge, and a connection to the specialty coffee market. The model provides an average of 2.5x the household income possible compared with the standard marketplace. Villa María is a Colombian municipality located in the department of Caldas, next to Neira, Palestina, Chinchina and Manizales, which make up the South Central sub- region of the department. The region is fed by numerous sources of water and natural resources. Villa María is located a few kilometers from the city of Manizales, whose urban areas are surrounded by the Chinchiná River. Red Villa María started with a community of 30 coffee producing families in the surrounding area of Jamaica, Caldas. This project has grown over the years and supports way more families now. Our 7th year investing in this project and a firm favourite with our regulars. We've visited VIlla Maria numerous times over the last few years and even though Raw Material have dropped the 'Red Associations' moniker as projects have grown and developed we're keeping it.. just because.
