Description
Tasting notes: Red fruit and buttery notes in aroma. Sweet taste of cherries and chocolate. The popular cult coffee from Hell has its own espresso roast, which has now reached volume 13. The content is washed coffee beans from fifteen small-scale coffee farmers in Planadas, Colombia. Black Espresso vol. 13 is certified organic. Looking for a lighter roast? Try our Black Coffee Anniversary Edition! Inspired by Black Coffee, we take a further dive into the dark with Black Espresso. This is an espresso that takes its name very seriously. The concept of "Black Coffee" and "Black Espresso" is a red-hot fusion between one of Norway's foremost cultural exports, Black metal, and a drink that is part of the culture in almost every corner of the world. Black Coffee was first launched at Hell in Trøndelag in 2011. This was done in collaboration with designers from ANTI Sweden who launched their new clothing collection during "Fashion Week in Hell". The black metal band "1349" was in charge of the entertainment. If you paid close attention in history class, you might remember what year the Black Death came to Norway? The band 1349 was founded in 1997 and consists of several former members of the band Alvheim. In addition to its macabre name reference, the band is known for its drummer Frost, one of the core members of the legendary group Satyricon. Producer: 15 smallholder farmers Farmgroup: ACEDGA Country: Colombia Region: Planadas, Tolima Variety: Colobia, Castillo, Typica Process: Washed Depulping and fermenting: Traditional method where cherries are matured longer on the tree for higher sugar content before depulping.
