Tasting notes:  Bosc Pear, Glossette and Brown Sugar Mayor from Escape Coffee is a washed Catigua from smallholder farms in Champasak Province, on the Bolaven Plateau in Laos. Grown at 800 to 1,350 metres, this lot introduced Laos to Escape’s Mayor series. Escape’s tasting notes are Bosc pear, Glossette chocolate and brown sugar. The washed process gives this coffee a clean profile, with fruit sweetness alongside chocolate notes. Brew it as filter coffee or espresso.
