Nestled on the slopes of Mount Oldeani in Tanzania's Karatu district, Acacia Hills sits between 1,750 and 1,950 meters above sea level, bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leon is a third-generation coffee farmer who has spent nearly two decades transforming this estate into one of Tanzania's leading specialty producers, planting quality-driven varieties and refining his post-harvest processes with meticulous care. This fully washed Kent is pulped within hours of harvest, dry fermented for up to 40 hours, and slow-dried on raised beds for no less than 15 days — a level of intention you can taste in the cup. With tasting notes of Orange, Black Cherry, Brown Sugar, and Chamomile, this coffee is smooth, balanced, and quietly complex. Truly a cup that rewards you more with every sip.
