Process: Natural Varietal: Pacamara Elevation: 1,400MASL Tasting notes: Melon, Pink Lemonade, Honey Cloza Estate is a family-owned farm and micro-mill operation located in Costa Rica. Dedicated to growing and processing coffee since 1970, they operate two farms in Naranjo and Alajuela. Guided by Don Clodoveo Zamora and his wife Doña Jeannette (Kathia's parents), Kathia began managing the family business in 2000. Their family are also founding members of the International Women Coffee Alliance (IWCA) - Costa Rica Chapter. In 2015, Cloza Estate was awarded the certification of "Women Care Certified", which represents a great achievement for a family committed to supporting the empowerment of women in the coffee industry, and continues to be a role model for women in coffee. Kathia named this lot after her father, Don Clodoveo, who was very much the inspiration for producing something new and unique. We were fortunate to visit Cloza Estate in January 2025 where we got to spend time with the whole family, inlcluding Don Clodoveo who is a truly inspirational person. We are proud to share their coffee with you!
