Kirundi for "together,” Turihamwe is produced by seven women coffee farmers who pooled their earnings to build Burundi's first women-owned washing station in 2019. By controlling production and quality at this stage, they've unlocked a cup prized for its bright, sweet, citrusy character. More than sixty percent of the contributing farmers of this lot are women, reflecting their commitment to support women in coffee production.
