Warm and sweet, Ambra folds caramel and praline into a baked apple base, a comforting cup for cooler autumn mornings. Ambra is Camber's seasonal autumn blend, built to showcase the warm, sweet character Central American coffees express so well. It draws from two producers working similar terroir with parallel dedication. Rosa Maria de la Peña farms Finca Los Aguacatones in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, where she rebuilt the entire operation after a 2010 fire, replanting with nitrogen-fixing shade trees and installing a rainwater catchment to irrigate through the dry season. Her coffees have since placed in multiple Cup of Excellence competitions. Victor López farms near the village of El Cedral in Honduras's Santa Barbara region, an area where Cup of Excellence placings are a regular occurrence. He started out selling to the conventional market, watched his neighbors earn specialty premiums, and in 2016 bought new land and planted it entirely with the Pacas variety.
