La Reb BLC - Test Roast [250gm]

Description

Our pilot roast of this coffee on the P3K for this months subscription. It turned out fairly nice but it had a few kinks we wanted to iron out stylistically in our following roasts. So we're putting up the test roast of it on a heavy discount and in full 250gm bags, for those who may want a full bag to dial in their espresso shots for example. Roasted on 27th of September. A lot originally labelled as just 'Bourbon' by Louis originally wowed us at the cupping table with its bright zingy acidity and juiciness. Further genetic testing has shown that this varietal , labelled as Fragancia by Lareb is a cross between Sidra and Catimor. It seems to have retained the punchiness and interesting profile of the former without it preserving the 'onion' character it has become infamous for, atleast in our experience with this coffee.
