Located in the department of Madriz, the Cinco de Junio cooperative is our oldest partner in Nicaragua, a relationship that began in 2009. Over the years, the cooperative has weathered challenges–shifting economic and political conditions and the growing impacts of climate change. These pressures have forced the cooperative and its members to adjust their production practices, persevering to make the best coffee possible.
