In the lush, volcanic heights of the Guji region, the Gata family cultivates premium coffee in partnership with over 220 smallholder farmers. This batch of coffee is hand-picked and sun-dried to preserve its sweet, fruity flavor. With proud traditions and deep roots in the rich coffee history of the Guji region, the Gerba Dogo washing station is a pioneer in Ethiopian coffee production. The coffee is grown in a unique microclimate, high in the mountains, where the lush and nutrient-rich soil provides perfect growing conditions. The combination of altitude, temperature variations and mineral-rich soil creates a complex and balanced flavor profile that characterizes coffee from this region. The result is a cup of coffee with distinct character, floral notes and a clean, lively acidity.
