Tasting notes: Juicy and intense. Taste of cherries and chocolate.  Planadas is a high-quality coffee cultivated by a farm group consisting of many small and skilled coffee producers. Located at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level, Tolima is a renowned coffee region in central Colombia. The volcanic soil and annual rainfall of over 1,700 millimeters make the conditions for coffee cultivation very good. With a dream of growing high-quality specialty coffee, 72 coffee farmers in Tolima came together to form the farm group ACEDGA in 2006. Since then, they have worked to improve the quality of coffee cultivation with a focus on sustainable agriculture and knowledge exchange. This has resulted in several of the coffee farmers in ACEDGA taking places in the Cup of Excellence Colombia. Planadas is certified organic.
