Tastes Like Jasmine • Peach • Pink Guava Tanat's Take: This Chibor Geisha Washed 97 from Ratibor Hartmann is a coffee we love for its precision. Ratibor Hartmann's work is part of a long family history of coffee in Panama. The Hartmann family is among the pioneers of coffee production in the region, while the Mi Finquita project lets them work on smaller plots. The washed process leaves a great deal of room for terroir and variety; the cup is luminous and floral. From the first sips, jasmine arrives with that floral, airy signature of Panamanian Geishas. Then the cup opens onto a ripe, juicy peach before sliding into a more exotic, delicate note of pink guava, fresh and slightly tangy. Roasted for filter.
