Description
Gititu Factory is part of the Aghuti Farmers Cooperative Society in Nyeri, where smallholder farmers deliver ripe coffee cherries for processing. This lot is made up of Kenya’s celebrated SL-28 and SL-34 varieties, traditionally washed and dried on raised beds. Bright and expressive, Gititu opens with lively lemon and grapefruit before moving into honey, golden raisin and black currant. As it cools, deeper fruit notes emerge alongside hints of passionfruit, while a black tea-like structure carries through a long, clean finish.
