Description
This exotic coffee from Hacienda La Esmeralda’s El Velo farm in Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama is truly special. Its uniqueness comes from the producer, the farm’s exceptional microclimate, the meticulous processing, and the rare varietal. Every step, from harvest to final drying, is executed with ultra‑high precision, and that craftsmanship shines clearly in the cup. It’s floral, tea‑like, and fruit‑forward, exactly as a Geisha should be, yet it carries intriguing bursts of flavour that reveal themselves at different temperatures. The coffee is naturally subtle, but it leaves the palate with lingering, memorable notes that stay with you long after the cup is finished. The filter option is a light roast profile optimized for pourover methods such as v60, and Origami. The espresso option is slightly more developed with a medium roast profile, optimized for extraction on your espresso machine. Tasting Notes: Jasmine, Mandarin, Cotton Candy, Peach, Blood Orange, Honey Cup score: 93.00 ☕ Hacienda La Esmeralda uses a precision‑driven approach to process this coffee. While it is primarily a natural process, it’s carried out in an air‑flow, temperature, and humidity‑controlled facility that allows the team to capture the maximum flavour potential of the coffee cherries. This meticulous environment ensures a clean, consistent drying curve and a final cup that expresses the full complexity and elegance of the varietal.
