Description
Costa Rica Cafe Vida Washed CUP PROFILE: MILK CHOCOLATE • BROWNIE • CARAMEL Costa Rica Cafe Vida Washed is a rich, chocolate-forward coffee with a full, dessert-like profile and plenty of sweetness. The cup opens with a creamy milk chocolate character that strongly recalls a classic Hershey’s chocolate bar, layered with brownie, cocoa, and a subtle malty depth. When hot, the chocolate notes are especially prominent, giving off the impression of melted chocolate with hints of caramel and soft Milk Dud-like sweetness. As the coffee cools, the cocoa and brownie tones become more pronounced, while a very light almond nuance adds just a touch of complexity without pulling the cup away from its chocolate-heavy core. The body carries some real heft, giving the coffee a dense, satisfying feel that complements its rich flavor profile. Overall, this is a comforting, sweet, and indulgent cup built around milk chocolate, brownie, and caramel, with a lingering cocoa finish that keeps the experience firmly in dessert territory. On espresso or drip this one consistently gives us chocolate dessert notes. Our Roast Level: Medium 12.16 % WL. Moisture of green 10.3 78.6 whole bean color and 118.4 ground (Lebrew) Higher number = lighter color * RESTING RECOMMENDATIONS: 11 days pour over 2 weeks on espresso. On day 3 and day 7 on pour overs, we did notice some earthy notes that went completely away after day 10 as a heads up!
