Pirates of Coffee is the first Canadian roaster to support Starts with Soil by featuring their coffee and we are proud of it.   About Starts with Soil Starts with Soil is a new initiative from Equation Coffee that provides $0.03/lb back to farmers in the form of agricultural support by focusing on: Crop diversification based on agroforestry designs Decreasing dependency on external inputs, such as chemical fertilizers Improving organic matter Increasing net income We hope these regenerative agricultural practices will help farmers in Tolima, Colombia to develop more sustainable coffee production.
