Sometimes you want some caffeine in your coffee, but not as much as usual. That’s why we came up with our sweet and balanced 50/50 Blend with reduced caffeine: 50% Mocha Java, 50% Decaf Shakeout, and 100% delicious. Components: Mexico: Region Chiapas; Producer Cooperativa de Producción Tzeltal-Tzotzil; Variety Bourbon, Mundo Novo, Typica; Milling Washed. The decaffeinated half of 50/50, Decaf Shakeout, is composed entirely of washed process coffees from Mexico, which add further chocolatey & nutty notes the final profile. Ethiopia: Region Odo Shakisso, Guji; Producer Ismael Hassen Aredo; Variety Local Heirloom; Milling Natural. A standout, natural-process coffee from Ethiopia provides a fruit-forward foundation for our Mocha Java Blend: the caffeinated half of our beloved 50/50 Blend. Guatemala: Region Huehuetenango; Producer Asociación Civil Guaya'b; Variety Catuai, Caturra, Typica; Milling Washed. Next, we add a coffee from Asociación Civil Guaya'b—a Guatemalan cooperative consisting of almost entirely indigenous producers—to embue this blend with bright and floral flavors. Sumatra: Region Takengon, Aceh; Producer Koperasi Ketiara; Variety Bergandal, Catimor, Caturra, Jember, Sidikalang, Tim Tim; Milling Wet Hulled. A full-bodied, earthy coffee from women producers of the Ketiara Cooperative in the Gayo Mountain region of Sumatra rounds out our Mocha Java blend with both depth and structure.
